Project Overview
The London project was an ambitious development that encountered unforeseen difficulties mid-way through construction. With no clear path to completion, we were brought in to assess the work already carried out and manage the remaining build. Our role included identifying remedial actions, planning the remaining works, and restoring the project’s momentum. With a completion timeframe of 30 weeks, we approached the task with our trademark professionalism and commitment to quality.
Our Role: Project Recovery and Precision Management
As experts in project recovery and management, our team’s first priority was to conduct a detailed assessment of the site. We quickly developed a revised schedule of works, ensuring compliance with key regulations while optimising the sequence of construction activities. The scope included:
- Completing the interiors of the apartments
- Finalising work in common areas such as stairwells and the car park
- Addressing exterior elements like balconies and external walls
We carefully selected sub-contractors for each phase of the project, prioritising their ability to meet our high standards for quality, safety, and timely completion. Groundworkers, electricians, plumbers, decorators, and other specialists worked under our strict oversight to ensure the project met all safety, regulatory, and aesthetic requirements.

This project was not without its challenges, but our team approached each with a solution-oriented mind-set:
- Planning and Coordination: We developed a construction phase plan to comply with CDM regulations, ensuring the smooth coordination of all construction phases.
- Health and Safety: We enhanced safety measures, fitting safety signage, conducting full site inductions for all operatives, and addressing any issues identified in our audit.
- Traffic Management: With limited site access and parking, we implemented a traffic management plan, ensuring smooth deliveries while minimising disruption to surrounding properties.
- Utility Connections: Investigative work was required to identify the location of services, including drainage, water, and electric systems. This was crucial for the project’s smooth progression.
Through innovative problem-solving and close coordination with our sub-contractors, we ensured that these challenges were addressed without compromising quality or safety.

- Precise installation of kitchen and bathroom fittings, flooring, skirting, hand railings, restrictors on windows, and finishes
- Fire-stopping and safety measures on all floors, ensuring full compliance with building regulations
- Correct installation of exterior features such as cladding, flashing, and copings
- Final touches, including painting and decorating
